Something a little different tonight. I found this 2007 Lotus Exige S parked behind Restoration Hardware on 7/28/2018. I used to see these cute little Lotuses all over the place when I was younger but these seem to have died out overtime. Lotus of Greenwich used to be a thing way back before I started coming here but it closed during the 2008 recession. The owner of this Exige used to have a burgundy Lotus Elise that I have seen multiple times at multiple events but never actually spotted it on the road. License plate: LITEWAIT (NY)

Amazing spot! I would venture to guess that this spends a fair amount of time on the track. It's unfortunate that so many of the Lotus dealerships have closed, sadly a lot of them weren't well-run and were avoided by Lotus fans. We briefly had a dealership in Winston Salem (of all places), which also sold Fiskers back when those were a thing, but sadly the Lotus brand was dropped about a year ago and the dealership now sells Volvos.

Awesome! I really love these Exiges. The whole Lotus philosophy nailed it. LITEWAIT and enough power to have a lot of fun. Amazing find!
